Eczema is a form of inflammation of the upper layers of the skin. The term eczema is broadly applied to a range of persistent or recurring skin rashes characterized by redness, edema, itching and dryness, with possible crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing or bleeding.

Psoriasis is an auto immune disorder which affects the skin and joints characterized by reddish lesions accompanied by silvery scaling that flakes off causing the skin beneath to bleed. The skin rapidly accumulates at these sites and takes a silvery-white appearance.
